Ambassadors lead call for law reform.

The vast majority of Australians support the Dying with Dignity NSW Mission to achieve law reform that entitles a mentally competent adult experiencing unrelievable suffering from a terminal or incurable illness to receive medical assistance to end their life peacefully, if that is what he or she wants. A responsible Act of Parliament will enable that right, with safeguards.

Dying with Dignity NSW says to the Parliament “Let’s Get on with it“. Our current laws lag behind the will of the people.

This issue concerns democracy, human rights and compassion for those who are suffering.  It is time for our elected representatives to act.

Following are details of high-profile Australians who have put up their hands to say that they support this law reform.
